Topo map - Skogsbyås

The highest point of Södermanland is located in the township of Nyköping, close to the border to Östergötland. Sörmland's Trail passes the highpoint and on the summit there is a lookout tower, built as late as 2000. This highpoint is one of the few which has been recognized by the city and been developed as a tourist attraction.
